SoftSpikes® Crushes Competition And Captures PGA, Nationwide & Champions Tour Events For True Weekend Sweep
Victorious Weekend Includes Sudden Death Win for Softspikes® Pulsar® Cleats at the PGA TOUR's Wyndham Championship
Brentwood, Tennessee, August 24, 2009 ... Softspikes® golf cleats - the world's best selling cleat brand - enjoyed a true weekend sweep as the winners of the PGA TOUR's Wyndham Championship and the Champions Tour's JELD-WEN Tradition both wore Pulsar® cleats, while the winner of the Nationwide Tour's Christmas in October Classic was outfitted in Black Widow® Tour™, golf's first adjustable cleat.

Adding to the Company's weekend Tour wins, Softspikes dominated the leaderboard at the PGA TOUR's Wyndham Championship, as 67% of the plastic cleat field wore Softspikes cleats. In addition to capturing first place on the Nationwide Tour, Softspikes also captured a second place victory as the runner-up wore Pulsar® cleats, the #1 Cleat on Tour.

"Triple wins on Tour for Softspikes has made this one of our most successful weekends of the 2009 season," said John Hohman, VP of Marketing, PrideSports. "While it's great to see players at every level continue to use and rely on our popular Pulsar cleat, we are very excited to see Black Widow Tour winning events on a consistent basis."

PrideSports was formed in January 2003 following Pride Manufacturing Company's purchase of Softspikes, Inc., and its sister company Trisport, Ltd. of England. This acquisition essentially formed the world's premier golf accessories company, as Pride and Softspikes are the world's leading golf tee and golf cleat lines, respectively. Today, PrideSports is the world leader in the design and manufacture of cleats, spikes and receptacles for the entire golf footwear industry.
