Tom Gocke joins Utah-based OGIO's golf division as its national sales manager/Western Region.
The National Sporting Goods Association Board of Directors elects two officers to terms that will run through Jan. 31, 2006. A.J. Blanchard, executive vice president/hardgoods of Academy Sports and Outdoors in Katy, Texas, will serve as chairman-elect, and Bruce Ullery, president of MC Sports in Grand Rapids, Mich., was elected treasurer.

OBITUARIES
Harry Pezzullo, who spearheaded the PGA of America's move to Palm Beach County, Fla., 40 years ago, passed away in his sleep May 25, at Gardens Court Rehabilitation Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. He was 93. Also, well-known European golf journalist Keith Duckworth recently passed away.

Peter "Trick Shot Master" Johncke will perform at the World Golf Trickshot Championship on June 6 at the Celtic Manor in Wales.
Celtic Manor in Wales will host the inaugural World Golf Trickshot Championship, featuring 12 of the world's top trick shot artists, on June 6.

Believe it or not, but Casual Friday has returned from a relaxing two-week stint off.
